# How much money can I borrow to buy a house in Greece?

The amount of your mortgage is determined by your income combined with your financial obligations, your cost of living and the value of the loan collateral.

__Maximum amount__

* The **maximum amount** of mortgage you can receive **can't exceed 80% of the value of your property**. 

| For example, if you are buying an apartment for €100,000 and the appraised value by the Bank's partner engineer is €100,000, you can receive a mortgage loan of up to €80,000, provided you meet the Bank's other credit criteria.

__Minimum amount__

* The **minimum amount** you can receive for a mortgage loan is **€15,000**.
