How much money can I borrow to buy a house in Greece?
The amount of your mortgage is determined by your income combined with your financial obligations, your cost of living and the value of the loan collateral.
Maximum amount
The maximum amount of mortgage you can receive can't exceed 80% of the value of your property.
For example, if you are buying an apartment for €100,000 and the appraised value by the Bank's partner engineer is €100,000, you can receive a mortgage loan of up to €80,000, provided you meet the Bank's other credit criteria.
Minimum amount
The minimum amount you can receive for a mortgage loan is €15,000.
